There’s something powerful that happens when a young person steps onto a stage and knows they belong there.
MIC DROP: The Power of US is more than a talent show! It’s a celebration of courage, creativity, and community. This one-of-a-kind event brings BeyondHome youth into the spotlight, giving them the chance to perform, be seen, and command an audience on their own terms.
But the impact doesn’t end when the curtain closes.
Why This Event Matters
This event is entirely planned, organized, and executed by BeyondHome kids!
Every ticket, every clap, every dollar raised helps unlock opportunities our youth wouldn’t otherwise have access to.
We’re raising $15,000 to fund:
Field trips that expand horizons beyond daily life
Extracurricular activities that build confidence and identity
Enrichment experiences that foster joy, connection, and growth
These aren’t “extras.” They are critical moments where young people discover who they are and who they can become.
