Arvada North History
BeyondHome acquired this 2.123-acre property in 2022 with the support of the City of Arvada and Revive Church, marking an important step toward expanding stable housing opportunities for families. The site is strategically positioned between vital community resources to the west at The Bridge and nearby retail amenities to the east—an ideal setting for families working toward long-term stability and self-sufficiency.
Momentum accelerated in 2024 as a dedicated design team formed under the leadership and vision of Thomas Sattler. Through his partnership with KGA Architects, a collaborative group of architects, planners, and industry professionals came together around a shared goal: investing their talents in a project that strengthens the community. Many of these partners have generously committed their expertise on a pro bono basis, helping move the vision forward.
In 2025, BeyondHome further strengthened the project by acquiring an additional 0.8 acres from the neighboring property owner to the north. This expansion allows for essential detention and drainage infrastructure and increases the total site to just under three acres—providing the space needed to thoughtfully support future homes and community infrastructure.
BeyondHome will continue advancing through the design and entitlement process in 2026, with the goal of securing a master permit by the fall. Each step brings the organization closer to creating new homes—and new opportunities—for families working to build stable, independent futures.
